Dave will be wondering “What did I do that she appreciate so much”. And he feels good about himself because it’s a positive message letting him know that you appreciate him.
It is the greatest desire of every person to be appreciated. So many relationships fall apart because rather than pointing out the good things that we appreciate about our partner, far too often we point out in negative things we want them to change. Rarely does a negative comment ever come to positive result.
